Leadership
Poverty is a community problem that takes a community solution.
Community Progress Council has the leadership, financial viability, and comprehensive, integrated services to deliver the needed outcomes that help families break the cycle of crisis.
The mandate of community action provides for a board of directors that is composed of community leaders and is equally drawn from three sections of the population: one-third members representing the low-income community, one-third elected officials or their representatives, and one-third from the private sector.
