National Night Out Block Party welcomes 300+
Community Progress Council welcomed more than 300 neighbors and friends for our annual National Night Out Block Party on Tuesday, August 4.
National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, aligns with our Core Value of Relationship by providing a chance to engage our neighbors, share resources, and best of all — have fun!
We had a blast on National Night Out, both here in the City of York and beyond — great weather; great entertainment from York Line Dance, Temple Guard, Shine Foundation and Ybk Bryan; great food from Caribe Deli & Grocery and water from Pennsylvania American Water; haircuts from Hair Razors, and nearly 30 partners sharing resources in our community!
Thanks to Downtown and York Revolution for stopping by, and of course to the City of York and York City Police Department and York City Department of Fire/Rescue Services, as well as Mayor Sandie Walker and the City of York.
A special thanks to our friends at AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania for their generous sponsorship this year, and to Walters Services Inc. for donating use of a portable toilet.
